WATCH: Cute Black Footed Cats
A litter of impossibly cute black-footed kittens recently made their debut at the Philadelphia Zoo.
The kittens were born to mom Aza on April 8. The two boys are named Drogon and Viserion, and their sister is Rhaegal. They’re the first of the small African wild cat species to be born at the zoo. A wellness check before their public debut showed they were healthy — and it gave their keepers a chance to give them dye marks, so they can tell them apart from a distance, ZooBorns reports. Their exhibit was kitten-proofed before they got the chance to explore it. The exhibit now includes a lower water level and climbing structures to help the little ones in and out of the pool.
Black-footed cats are the smallest cats anywhere, making Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion here the smallest kittens in the world. Born on April 8, these kittens are the first black-footed cats ever born at Philadelphia Zoo.
