Despite being asked to remain on Bravo’s hit TV show “Real Housewives of Orange County,” Lydia McLaughlin made the controversial decision to walk away from the popular franchise to pursue her passions, faith and family.
According to a news release from the Icon Media Group, McLaughlin, in her new book, “Beyond Orange County” (Worthy Publishing, April 14, 2015), shares the inside scoop from the television series and inspires readers to boldly live a life of purpose.
“I knew God had called me to do the show,” writes McLaughlin. “Although I knew it would be unconventional, I realized that taking the leap of faith to sign up for this reality show would be a kind of ministry.”
